This Sabbath, Women’s Ministry is celebrating a Day of Prayer. We will have a guest speaker, Chaplain Gia Lawe from Waterbury. There will be potluck after service.
Also remember Prayer Breakfast before Sabbath School. Meet at 8 am in the Fellowship Hall. We will sing songs together, break bread and then pray together.
A special afternoon program is being planned with the young people involved in a court scene defending the 7th day Sabbath.
Elder Gia Lawe-Jones believes that God is faithful, loving and kind. He is the only constant in this life. His love is immeasurable and His mercies endure forever. By the Holy Spirit we are more than conquerors!
Elder Lawe-Jones is a native of South Florida – West Palm Beach. She is the wife of Bro. Wilbert Jones, the mother of three beautiful sons and the grandmother of “The most beautiful girl in the world.” Currently she serves as the Head Elder of the Waterbury SDA church.
